Yeah take the original metal divy one off and fit the one from your max ( like Al said you'll have to re-drill the plastic one to fit ) .........that's what I did when I had a divy wheel on mine. My brother rides a divvy, I ride an exup. I have a 1997 Diversion XJ900S and it runs like a dream. A good budget tourer with the added bonus of shaft drive. Partly based on this thread ive just bought a 1999 Diversion version. Here is my diversion 900, a few small dings but looks great for its age. Might see you about in the new year or what, if it's a keeper. I did wonder what all those pipes were for under the fairing, but never enough to bother tracing them!
